Counsellor and Psychotherapist (BACP/UKCP/FPC) St Albans and London Bridge
I am a fully qualified experienced counsellor and psychotherapist working in St Albans and London. I am committed to providing a consistent, relaxed and confidential space for my clients to explore the issues which bring them to therapy. I see my clients once a week, on an open-ended basis or for a specified number of sessions, depending on what suits each person best.
I use my training and experience to support clients seeking support with many different aspects of life including:
- separation and divorce
- anxiety and depression
- work stress and unemployment
- emotional/physical/sexual abuse
- life changing illness
- domestic violence
Counselling and therapy are talking therapies which can support you at times of stress or crisis. You can take time to begin to understand your emotional reactions to what is happening in your life and begin to think about possible ways forward. I also see clients who are not facing any particular crisis , but have decided to see a therapist to help them understand themselves better or because they feel that they are not enjoying life to the full.
Deciding to seek professional help can be difficult and I understand how hard it can be to make that first contact with a therapist. I am always pleased to receive enquiries and there is never any obligation to do more than have that first telephone conversation. If you are not sure if counselling or psychotherapy is for you, a telephone conversation will give you a chance to find out more and allow you to decide whether you would like to come for an initial session.
